I’ve been using it and it does the job, but the integrations are kind of limited. I was hoping, actually, I expected it to connect with a few more tools right out of the box. It’s usable, but it definitely feels like it needs more options...

"File sharing feels clunky"
I’ve had a rough time with the file sharing so far. Uploads seem to fail more often than I’d expect, and it makes the whole process feel clunkier than... I don’t know, it just gets frustrating when you’re trying to send something quickly

"Nice design, but I was cautious getting around at first"
Hive looks good overall, the colors are easy on the eyes and it has a clean feel. But I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant clicking around at first because the layout can feel crowded, and I didn’t want to accidentally miss something important or change the wrong thing. Simple stuff took more digging than I expected. Once I got used to where things were, it was fine, but I think the interface could be clearer for new users. It’s not bad, just not as smooth or intuitive as I hoped.

"Desktop app keeps freezing"
The desktop app feels really sluggish and freezes on me way too often. It crashes enough that it gets frustrating, and it kind of gives off that feeling like there’s no real person there paying attention to the problems.

hive does have some solid customization options, like switching up views and adding fields, which I appreciated. But when I was trying to get everything set up for our team, it felt like I had to move fast and figure out workarounds on the fly. Some workflows just aren’t as flexible as I expected, and things can get confusing quickly. It’s not bad overall, I just wish it was easier to make it fit the way we actually work.

Overall, the docs work fine for what I need, but the whole experience feels a little clunky at times. Sharing stuff can get messy, which is frustrating when you’re just trying to keep things simple. I also don’t have a ton of faith in customer service to sort things out quickly if something goes wrong, so I mostly just try to work around the issues myself.

"Nice improvements, but still a little rough in spots"
After using hive through the latest updates, I can definitely tell it’s moving in the right direction. The layout feels cleaner than before, and a few of the task features are easier to figure out in day-to-day use. That makes a real difference when the team is trying to stay on top of projects. I also appreciate that they seem to keep improving the product instead of just letting it sit. That said, it still slows down on me here and there, and a couple of buttons aren’t as obvious as I’d like. Overall, it’s a solid tool for our team, just not totally polished yet

"Pretty solid value for the price"
For our small team, Hive has felt reasonable price-wise. Is it the absolute cheapest option out there?? Not really, but we use the tools every day, so it feels worth it overall. I do wish a few of the extras were included though??

"Makes my day a bit easier"
I use hive on my phone most of the time, probably a few times a day, and it’s been smooth for checking tasks, messages, and quick updates. The notifications are helpful too, especially when I’m trying to keep track of things on the go. Haven’t really had any major issues so far, so overall I’m happy with it.

I’ve actually started dreading Monday reports a lot less. The analytics are easy to read, and I can usually find what I need quickly, which is nice because my brain is already bouncing between emails, meetings, and whatever I forgot to do last Friday.

I tried changing up my dashboard setup, and it was frustrating. The website makes it sound like you can customize things more freely, but once I got in there, it felt really limited. Some of the widgets didn’t move or behave the way I expected, so I wasn’t sure if I was missing something or if that’s just how it works. Overall, it was more annoying than it should’ve been.

We started using hive to automate some of our repeat tasks, it’s saved me a surprising number of clicks every day. Setup was painless, and the best part is that my team actually stuck with it. Based on how much easier it made things for us, I’d imagine most teams dealing with repetitive workflows would get a lot out of it too...

"Team collaboration turned into a headache"
Trying to keep the team aligned got messy quickly. Things felt scattered, and nobody seemed to be on the same page. What made it even more frustrating was getting transferred around when I tried to get help, I had to explain the issue more than once, which just added to the hassle

Hive is okay when everything’s working, and I’m totally not stressed about it or anything. But lately, the bugs keep popping up at the worst times and slowing my team down, which is just... super fun to deal with calmly

I tried setting up hive and the whole onboarding process was confusing. There were a lot of steps, and half the time I wasn’t totally sure what I was supposed to click next. A couple of the emails helped, but it still took longer than I expected to get things moving. Support was decent when they replied, just not very fast. It also kind of gave me the feeling that they’re more focused on getting you signed up and paying than making sure you’re actually comfortable using the product. Not the best first impression.

Hive feels safe for our team. Permissions make sense. Eventually. Took me a little digging to get some settings right. Not terrible though. Overall, it does what we need.

"I finally got my notifications under control"
After using Hive for a bit, I really appreciate how easy it is to manage notifications. I was able to choose what actually deserves a ping and quiet down the stuff that was just cluttering my day. It took me a little time to tweak the settings the way I wanted, but now I’m not missing important team updates, and I’m not getting distracted by every little thing either.
